Theme of the Month: Victory for Royal
Ambassadors
Topic:Embracing
the Victory of The Cross
Victory over Satan, sin
and circumstances of life does not happen by means of the arm of the flesh. The
flesh will fail because it is limited to the material world. The Bible says our
battle is against principalities and powers, etc. To Position ourselves in a
way that such forces will be under our control, we need an alliance with the
one who created both them and us, the Almighty God.
Our alliance with God
starts with our salvation, God is a Spirit and those who will benefit from a
relationship with him must be spiritual. We must be born of the Spirit by faith
(John 3:3-8).We must follow the teaching of the Bible about how to be born
again by faith. John 5:4-5 says for whatsoever is born of God overcometh the
world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is
He that overcometh the world, but He that believeth that Jesus is the son of
God?’’
A life of victory in
Christ is a life of faith from the beginning to the end. We build our faith on
what God has said about our salvation and what He would do about our situation
according to what he says in His word.
To enjoy our Christian
faith we must hold on tenaciously to what He has said about the forgiveness of
sin, the healing of our body and the support He offers us supernaturally in
every aspect of our lives.Through our saving and sanctifying union with him, He
gives us the Holy Spirit as seal and earnest (Ephesians 1:13, 14)
We must embrace the cross
to be able to enjoy the seal and support of the Holy Spirit. The support is
indeed available in abundance but the strength to access it comes as we live
crucified life by faith. By faith we consider the sinful dispositions as things
of the past and see God in action in our lives through His Spirit He has
bestowed on us. Happy Easter Sunday.
