RELIEF FOR THE TROUBLED

2 Thessalonians 1:3-12
[God will] give relief to you who are troubled. 2 Thessalonians 1:7

There is Someone else who is strong and good, and who will one day right the wrongs in our world. When Jesus returns, He will come down from heaven with a group of powerful angels. He will “give relief to you who are troubled,” and He will not ignore those who have created problems for His children (2 Thess. 1:6-7). Until that day, Jesus wants us to stand firm and have courage. No matter what we endure on earth, we are safe for eternity.

Dear God, please protect us and give us wisdom through Your Holy Spirit. Help us to be just and fair in everything we do so that we are good representatives for You.

One day God will right every wrong.

Sunday 3rd September, 2017 Theme: The unfailing God (Isaiah 40:28-31); Topic: restoring the lost Grounds (1 Samuel 30:8; Ezekiel 37:3-5) God is supreme in the universe. His word is final. When He speaks heaven and earth are affected because great number of publishers is attached to the intent of His command or promise according to Psalm 68:11,”The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it”. See also 2 Kings 6:16 where Prophet Elisha assured his servant, “And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them”. Everything in heaven and earth is affected when God speaks. Even Satan is affected because all things must work together for the good of the purpose of our God. Life in general can be broken into various segments for the purpose of direct application of the word of God. For instance; is it the aspect of marriage? Career? Relationships? Health? that we want the word of God to address? Any of these areas can have its peculiar challenges. We are particular about the principles of the doctrine of Christ that will help us to address, resolve and survive any areas of life that is experiencing challenges.
